Job Summary
Responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively engaging with current and prospective customers to promote and sell office and janitorial supplies. This role focuses on outbound sales efforts, lead generation, and relationship building through phone, email, and other communication channels. Build and maintain strong, positive relationships by providing excellent service, resolving issues, and following up.
Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
· Proactively contact assigned customer lists and new leads to generate sales opportunities.
· Has no fear of the phone and is energized by the challenge to address objections and keep the momentum.
· Embraces learning new technology; including AI and time-saving tools.
· Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
· Able to relate and adjust to different personality profiles and buying styles.
· Promote supply and janitorial programs, highlighting product features and value propositions.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
· Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
· Develop/cultivate and grow volume for “territory lists” as assigned which may increase or decrease based on market changes.
· Be Urgent, Be Present, Be Engaged.
· Meet or exceed defined sales activity metrics to drive revenue
Collaboration & Support
· Partner with field Office Supply Specialist to support territory growth strategies.
· Coordinate with customer service, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
· Communicate customer feedback, trends, and competitive insights to internal stakeholders.
Sales Operations
· Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in CRM.
· Assist with contract entry, catalog distribution, and online account setup as needed.
· Participate in team meetings, product training, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2 years of inside sales or customer-facing sales experience, preferably in office or janitorial supplies.

· Demonstrates outstanding phone etiquette, active listening and clear verbal communication.
· Thrives on a structured call guide while making it natural and your own.
· Projects a confident, courteous and professional demeanor in all phone interactions to effectively represent the company and build rapport with clients, partners, and internal teams.
· Strong written communication skills.
· Excellent relationship-building, time management, and organizational skills.
· Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Willingness to adapt to evolving sales strategies and tools.
· Valid driver’s license and good driving record (occasional travel may be required).
Salary : $45,000 - $65,000
