Overview

Eagleview, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Field Systems Engineer in Rochester. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies.We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Flight Systems Engineer to join our team in delivering, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced imaging systems in dynamic and challenging environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, particularly in digital photography, electronics, and mechanical systems. This role requires a hands-on professional with a solid grasp of networking, Windows and Linux systems, and field service work.

Responsibilities

• Assembly, installation, and maintenance of custom camera equipment using custom tools and software.
• Deploy software updates to remote locations.
• Repair and replace hardware components in remote locations.
• Develop process improvements.
• Document service history and hardware deployment.
• Setup, testing and deployment of image capture hardware and software.
• In office, normal business hours.
• Up to 50% travel.
  
  

Qualifications

• Two- or Four-year college degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong computer and networking skills using both Windows and Linux.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform consistent, high-quality work.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, fluid environment with emerging processes and procedures.
• Ability to move and lift 75lbs.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.Preferred
• Familiarity with principles of digital photography and general construction of digital cameras.
• Aerial imaging or aircraft maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
