The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $72,600.00 to $114,631.20. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.

We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Silver Spring, MD office four days per week.

Responsibilities

We are hiring a sharp, self-motivated Business Analyst for the EagleBank Enterprise Project Management Office. This person will take ownership of supporting and optimizing our banking applications while helping lead our push into AI. You'll need at least four years of solid experience, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and hands-on skills with SQL and project management tools. Key tasks involve guiding end-users through changes, assessing impact, providing training, and evaluating AI applications and business functions for things like fraud detection and workflow automation. We need someone with excellent analytical skills who can handle multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with core banking systems like FIS or Fiserv is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Information Management, Computer Science, Finance or related field. Equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience in software application implementations/upgrades/database reporting may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 4 years Experience creating test plans and conducting user acceptance testing; database structure and management, or with project management; analytical experience utilizing business intelligence tools; data analysis, business requirement gathering and developing reports or spreadsheets.
• Experience in data analysis, business requirement gathering and developing reports or spreadsheets
• Experience working in this environment in a financial institution with knowledge of FIS, Fiserv, or other core banking systems
• Experience working with business and IT functions to deliver requirements that support the implementation and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Strong capabilities in data analysis, process modeling, project management tools, test plan creation, UAT, (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Office Suite, etc.), and data querying (e.g., SQL). Experience working in this environment in a financial institution with knowledge of FIS, Fiserv, or other core banking systems. Experience in data analysis, business requirement gathering and developing reports or spreadsheets.
• Understanding of project management Project Life Cycle
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and take ownership of projects with minimal supervision.

Preferences

• Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) in Business Administration (MBA), Business Management or related field
• Relevant professional certifications like PMP, CBAP, CSM or ability to obtain within 9 months of employment.
