About the Role
The ELD Teacher at Table Rock Elementary School will provide targeted instruction in English language development,
ensuring that multilingual learners acquire the academic language skills necessary for success. This role involves collaborating with
general education teachers to adapt curriculum, differentiate instruction, and integrate language learning strategies across subjects.
Responsibilities include assessing student language proficiency, tracking progress, and implementing evidence-based
interventions to support individual student needs. The teacher will also create a welcoming and culturally responsive
classroom environment, where students feel valued and empowered to use their linguistic
and cultural strengths as assets in their learning.
Who We're Looking For
EPSD9 is seeking a dedicated educator with expertise in English Language Development who is committed to
supporting students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The ideal candidate will hold a
current Oregon Teaching License with an endorsement in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
and demonstrate strong instructional and pedagogical skills in language acquisition.
Candidates should be collaborative team players who are eager to work with general education teachers, specialists,
and families to support student success. A passion for adapting curricula to meet students' evolving needs is essential.
The ability to integrate technology and innovative assessment tools is highly valued.

Position Title: Elementary ELD Teacher- 2026-2027 School Year
Placement: Table Rock Elementary, White City, OR
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 193/194 days per year / 8 hours per day
Salary Range: $46,548 - $90,846 per year plus a Master's Stipend of $2,327. Salary placement will depend on verified full-time experience and Master's-level credits.
Salary listed indicates current 2023-2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement - subject to change
