About the Role
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides education-related occupational therapy services to students with a variety of cognitive,
emotional, or physical disabilities under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. This position collaborates with staff, families, and service providers
to support student access, participation, and progress in school environments.
Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, supporting student skill development, maintaining records, and assisting with adaptive strategies
that promote independence and success in the classroom.

We are seeking a flexible, student-centered professional who is passionate about supporting ALL students and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Applicants must hold a valid Oregon COTA license and a National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
Candidates should demonstrate strong collaboration skills, adaptability, empathy, and effective communication when working with students, staff, and families.
Prior experience working with students with diverse needs is preferred. Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.

Position Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for 2026-2027
Placement: District Wide � Placement to be determined
Supervisor: Principal or Designee
Contract Days: 182 days per year / 8 hours per day
Salary Range: $23.86-$32.46 per hour, Salary placement will be dependent upon verified full-time experience
Includes an excellent benefits package, including 6% PERS retirement "employee contribution" paid by the District, and tuition reimbursement available
Salary listed indicates current 2023-2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement - subject to change
Position will begin September 2026, with screening to begin immediately.
