Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and appliances using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure secure connections.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and specifications.
- Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning essential for accurate installations.
- Follow all safety protocols on-site, including proper handling of tools and materials during remodeling or construction activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical principles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation processes.
