Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of building materials such as tile, masonry, drywall, fixtures, gutters, and roofing components following blueprint specifications and construction plans.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks including framing, caulking, trimming, plastering, flooring installation, and concrete finishing.
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials.
- Support heavy equipment operation when necessary for material handling or site preparation.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, restoration work, or custom fabrication tasks while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or drywall installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with bluebeam software or construction management tools is a plus for project coordination.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, or tile masonry enhances your versatility on the job site.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools; experience with heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites including ladder use and proper handling of materials.
- Excellent communication skills for customer service interactions when working directly with clients or project stakeholders.
