What You’ll Do
- Caring and compassionate individuals to be a companion to our residents of our retirement and life community.
- You will be responsible for meeting residents’ friendship and socialization needs by providing non-medical support while fostering each residents’ independence and freedom of choice.
- Can include, but not limited to, activities inside and outside of the communities, accompanying or driving to appointments, entertainment or shopping.
- Companionship services are done through 1:1 visits, respite care and/or seasonal jobs.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a genuine interest in caring for seniors
- CBRF training is required, but training can be provided
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Our starting rate is between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications. Increases upon orientation completion, and regular wage reviews – we pay for high performance!
- CNA Training (any state)
- Completion CBRF classes prior to hire
- CNA, Resident Care, or Home Health Experience
- Available at 50 hours/pay period: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life and AD&D Insurance, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Flexible Spending and Health Savings Options, paid leave time
- Available at 20 hours/pay period: Vision Insurance, Voluntary Supplemental Insurances, Pet Insurance.
- Available at 18 hours/pay period: Tuition Investment Program.
- Available to all: Employee Assistance Program, 401(k).
- Background checks will be run after an offer has been made, and offers are contingent upon successfully passing a background check.
- Communicable Disease Screening
