Respite Provider Needed – Chippewa Falls, WI
Do you like Disney music, building cool things, and being active outdoors?
Are you patient, upbeat, and good at meeting kids where they’re at?
Then this might be the perfect part-time gig for you!
We’re looking for a respite provider for a sweet, creative, and energetic young boy in Chippewa Falls. He’s on the Autism spectrum (no experience required — just an open heart and willingness to learn).
About This Awesome Kid:
- Mainly nonverbal, but communicates in his own ways (and sometimes with words!)
- Loves drawing and building (especially buildings & airplanes )
- Big fan of Disney movies — Cars is a favorite
- Enjoys climbing, swimming, and playing outside
- Has access to the YMCA & Chippewa Falls Pool
Schedule & Pay:
- 4 hours/week
- Saturday & Sunday afternoons preferred (flexible!)
- $14.13/hour (after-tax rate)
- Location: Chippewa Falls, WI
(Care location decided together with family)
What You’ll Do:
- Build trust through patience, kindness, and communication
- Keep him engaged with fun, active, and creative activities
- Encourage his love for art, building, and movement
- Provide gentle hourly restroom reminders
You’d Be a Great Fit If You Are:
- Kind, patient, and energetic
- Comfortable being active and outdoors
- Open to communication with the family
- Flexible and adaptable
- Experience with Autism is a plus — but not required!
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Willing to complete a caregiver background check
