JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the daily operation of moving inventory and production supplies in a safe and timely manner. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by supervisor.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform daily inspection of equipment and complete all required QC related paperwork
· Perform quality inspections of material
· Contribute to the safety and cleanliness of the shop
· Follow Material Handler process per supervisor
· Follow all company policies and shop rules
· Must be detail oriented
· Follow all safety rules and quality standards
· Ensure all fire extinguishers and electrical panels are unblocked
· Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
· Prepare product for next stage of production
· Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above
· Proper PPE must be worn
· Receive, track, and deliver material to production departments
· No ripped or frayed jeans allowed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
· Experience in forklift operation.
· Ability to pass a written and physical forklift test
· Knowledge of changing out gas cylinders
· Ability to perform basic math
· Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
· Ability to work 40 hours a week
· Ability to lift to 40lbs
· Anything deemed necessary by Management Team Member only
