OBIEE Developer (OAS, PL/SQL, Power BI)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a strong OBIEE Developer with hands-on experience in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), PL/SQL, and ETL processes. This role is focused on BI/reporting development, not a data engineering position. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in OBIEE/OAS development with supporting ETL and data warehousing experience.

Required Skills (Must Have):

• OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition)
• OAS (Oracle Analytics Server)
• PL/SQL
• Advanced SQL (CTEs, Window Functions, Performance Tuning, Explain Plans)
• ETL (hands-on experience, but not ETL-heavy role)

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain OBIEE/OAS dashboards, reports, and metadata (RPD)
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures
• Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports
• Work with data warehouses including Snowflake and Exadata
• Support and contribute to ETL processes and data pipelines
• Perform data analysis, modeling, and validation
• Ensure performance tuning and query optimization
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into BI solutions

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query (M), Data Modeling, Visualization)
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and semantic layer design
• Familiarity with Python
• Experience migrating OBIEE to OAS or modern BI tools

Important Note (Candidate Filtering):

• This is a BI/OBIEE Developer role, not a Data Engineer position
• Candidates with heavy ETL/Data Engineering backgrounds and limited OBIEE experience will not be considered
