IT Specialist / Network Operations Specialist
Location: West Bridgewater, MA
Schedule: Full-Time, 100% Onsite (7am–4pm or 8am–5pm; hours may vary)
Pay Range: $75,000–$85,000 annually ($37–$41/hr)

About the Role
This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who enjoys hands-on technical work in a manufacturing or engineering environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring network infrastructure, systems, and services are running securely and efficiently, while also supporting CNC program transfers, server environments, and multiple remote manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, latency, bandwidth, and security issues.
- Configure, manage, and optimize network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement and maintain critical network security measures such as firewalls and VPNs.
- Support CNC program transfers (SuiteFactory, Mastercam).
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and availability with appropriate tools.
- Maintain documentation for network configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
- Prepare performance logs, reports, incident summaries, and KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, sales, and administrative teams.
- Provide support to remote manufacturing sites as needed.
- Perform occasional after-hours tasks and maintenance windows.
Requirements
- CompTIA A certification
- CCNA or CompTIA Network certification
- Windows Server experience (Hybrid or Azure environments)
- Experience with CNC program transfers (SuiteFactory & Mastercam required)
- Comfortable supporting remote manufacturing sites
- Hypervisor administration experience (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Willingness to work flexible or off-hours when necessary
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3–5 years of IT experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Must work 100% onsite in West Bridgewater, MA (no remote or hybrid options)
