IT Specialist / Network Operations Specialist
Location: West Bridgewater, MA
Schedule: Full-Time, 100% Onsite (7am–4pm or 8am–5pm; hours may vary)
Pay Range: $75,000–$85,000 annually ($37–$41/hr)

About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled IT professional with strong networking and systems experience, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering setting. In this role, you’ll support network infrastructure, servers, CNC program transfers, and multiple remote sites to ensure all systems run securely, reliably, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to connectivity, latency, bandwidth, and network security.
- Configure, manage, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
- Maintain and implement essential security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Support CNC program transfers using SuiteFactory and Mastercam.
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and uptime using appropriate tools.
- Document configurations, changes, procedures, and operational workflows.
- Prepare logs, performance data, incident reports, and KPI summaries.
- Partner with operations, engineering, sales, and administrative teams.
- Provide IT support for remote manufacturing facilities.
- Perform occasional after-hours maintenance or project work.
Requirements
- CompTIA A certification
- CCNA or CompTIA Network certification
- Windows Server experience (Hybrid or Azure preferred)
- Hands-on experience with CNC program transfers (SuiteFactory & Mastercam required)
- Ability to support remote manufacturing locations
- Hypervisor experience (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Willingness to work off-hours when needed
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3–5 years of IT experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Must be able to work 100% onsite in West Bridgewater, MA (no remote/hybrid)
