Manufacturing Specialist

Hilliard's Chocolate System provides the finest in machinery for chocolate candy producers made in the USA - tempering melters of several capacities, hand coaters, complete enrobing systems, and cooling cabinets - for the novice or experienced chocolate maker - to provide a complete range of capabilities.

Hilliard's is seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined recent college or trade school graduate who is interested in developing a career that combines equipment manufacturing, technical troubleshooting, and customer service. This position offers the opportunity to learn our business from the ground up. The successful candidate will begin by learning how to build and assemble all of our equipment before progressing into troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing our machines. As their knowledge and experience grow, they will transition into an office-based role supporting our sales and technical support teams, assisting customers with equipment questions and troubleshooting over the phone.

The position also offers opportunities for business travel, including customer service calls, equipment installations, and industry trade shows. Our goal is to develop a well-rounded team member who understands every aspect of our equipment and can confidently represent Hilliard’s to our customers.

Requirements:

• High School/Technical School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous Sales experience desired
• Previous Mechanical or Electrical experience desired
• Previous Leadership experience desired
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Able to read prints/diagrams
• Able to copy work from an example
• Able to follow instructions and work independently
• English speaking required, additional languages a plus

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

• The employee is required to work in a manufacturing setting that may be cold or hot depending on the season
• The employee frequently is required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, or crouch
• The employee may lift up to 50 Pounds
• The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderate to high in Shop
• Able to get to job in West Bridgewater (Transportation)
