Duties
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and packaging of surgical instruments and medical devices with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Reprocess endoscopes and other complex medical equipment following established sterilization protocols to ensure safety and functionality.
- Manage inventory levels efficiently by tracking supplies, ordering necessary items, and maintaining accurate records to support operational continuity.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards by implementing strict sterilization procedures and infection control practices.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and sterilizers correctly, monitoring cycles for quality assurance.
- Conduct routine quality checks on processed instruments to verify cleanliness, functionality, and proper packaging.
- Maintain detailed documentation of sterilization processes, instrument tracking, and equipment maintenance for regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate timely instrument availability for scheduled procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols related to handling contaminated materials and medical waste disposal.
- Stay current with evolving sterile processing guidelines and participate in ongoing training on best practices.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 3 years of SPD experience
- Active CRCST certification
- BLS/BCLS
- CRCST
Shift: Days &Evening (08 hours)
