What You'll Do:
As a Supply Chain Support Specialist, you will provide general transactional support by data entry, answering phones, and assist the permanent team with daily tasks. You will be responsible for creating orders, open order reporting, data cleansing and document retention activities. Other duties include:
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures, processes, and policies
- Complete assigned daily workflows, document processing, or data entry accurately and on schedule.
- Assist permanent team members with peak workloads, special projects, or coverage during staff absences
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure error-free outputs and flag discrepancies to supervisors promptly
- Answer phones, direct inquiries, or route messages to appropriate departments professionally
- Respond to basic tasks or questions with a courteous and helpful demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding task progress, roadblocks, or completion status.
- Improve internal processes to increase customer satisfaction and streamline work
- Support site teams with technical and process issues, including blocks, errors, sales orders, bills of lading, and invoicing.
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
What We're Looking For
- 6 months of administrative data related experience
- 2 yrs. experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) business systems, SAP preferred
- Computer literacy in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, etc.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
