SKILLS:Position requires:The ability to understand and interpret written manufacturing instructions, process data and drawings in EnglishMechanical and electrical aptitude working with complex assemblies.Aptitude of soldering techniques and assembly of instruments.Ability to do mathematical calculations in conjunction with calibration equipment to set and adjust electronics to required specifications.Requires knowledge of electronics, temperature testing, computers, software and firmware.Position requires ability to perform complex diagnoses on mechanical/ electronic products, understand schematics and wiring diagrams; competent use of electronic test equipment; and ability to use computer transaction systems.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Possible periodic physical effort requiring moving of test stands. Manual dexterity required.Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, as required to perform essential job duties.Must be able to load and unload ovens using a 60 ft. lb. torque wrench.Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.Physical ability to perform job duties requiring movement of weights and pumping action.Proper physical effort and safety required to handle chemically filled products.RESPONSIBILITIES:Meets established standards of productivity and efficiency while maintaining acceptable quality levels for all work performed.Evaluate and perform complex diagnostic testing, repair, rebuilding, calibration and service of all units returned for service by utilizing the proper equipment.Remain current on all new revisions and upgrades of Dynisco products and resell accessories.Report any safety, equipment, or process issues immediately to your Supervisor or Manager.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Performs mechanical and electrical assembly operations using hand tools.Performs a variety of routine assembly and test operations using hand pumps and weights in conjunction with electronic test stands, soldering irons, desk-top electronic compensation equipment.Assembles, solders wires/flex prints and electrical components into sub-assemblies, printed circuit boards and final test.Performs basic continuity and electrical checks, calibrates, final tests and to repair production units not meeting preset standards of performance or quality.Must be able to work independently and without constant direct supervision.Maintains record of work as required, reports discrepancies and problems to supervisor/Manager immediately.Accept, inspect and log returned items and properly dispose of packing/ shipping materials. Identify, isolate and safeguard customer returned property from items designated as Dynisco property.Perform technical diagnosis and repair of all types of Dynisco and third party accessory products, including instrumentation, mechanical-digital pumps and/or system calibrations.Evaluate repairs, requisition parts, test units, follow established work procedures and request/generate appropriate documentation for return of unit to final test, customer or stock.Identify non-conforming parts and process paperwork to MRB.Follow Quality System policies and procedures.Train new and cross-training employees on job processes and procedures.Must be willing and able to perform all requested operations per the direction of Supervisor/Manager.EDUCATION: High School or Vocational School diploma or equivalency
