What are the responsibilities and job description for the Railing Assembly Technician position at Suncor Stainless/Atlantis Rail?
The Railing Shop Assembly Technician primary responsibility is assembling custom railing jobs and packaging railing components for shipping. Atlantis Railing Shop Assembly Technician shall receive training for other specific duties when required.
Job Responsibilities:
· Perform assembly tasks according to procedures
· Assemble railings
· Package finished product for shipping
· Assemble railing sections as directed
· Saw cutting and deburring of railing tubes and components
· Cleaning of related products
· Complete Work Orders and paperwork
· Put away stock and replenish bins
· Follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety rules, manufacturing and quality procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to read a tape measure, calipers and basic measuring devices
· Must be able to properly use pallet jacks to move product, and forklift driving capability may be required
· Ability to use hand tools such as hammer, screwdrivers, and weighing scales
· Gain proficiency with the use of the SX &TWL systems, and hand-held scanners
· Attention to detail while keeping a neat and organized work area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
