What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Dynamic Metals LLC?
Responsible for the maintenance and repair work for buildings and machinery
Principal Responsibilities:
- Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, and painting repairs
- Implement and perform preventative maintenance on machinery
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Respond to work orders to repair equipment
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
- Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) book and log - audit yearly for compliance
- Use proper Lock Out Tag Out equipment and procedures and perform maintenance operations in a safe manner
- Ability to lift required objects with or without assistance, turn, load/unload required objects
- Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Detail Oriented
- Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out procedures
- General machine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting experience
- Hydraulic and electrical repair experience
- Willing to work overtime, as needed
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of maintenance and electrical experience
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
