Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional climate control solutions across various properties. Duties

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose issues related to HVAC system repair, refrigeration, plumbing, and building automation systems; implement effective solutions promptly.
• Utilize welding, hand tools, and mechanical knowledge to repair or replace damaged components or equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate system installation and repairs.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status or required repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with EPA regulations related to refrigerants and environmental safety standards.
• Support property maintenance tasks as needed, including appliance repair and general mechanical system troubleshooting.
• Drive company vehicle safely to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a focus on HVAC system installation and repair.
• Service technician experience working with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems in commercial or residential settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with plumbing, electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, welding, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, building automation systems, electrical systems, and HVAC design principles.
• Ability to operate hand tools effectively along with specialized equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus; valid EPA certification required for refrigerant handling.
• Mechanical or mechanic experience preferred; ability to perform HVAC system maintenance efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driver certification preferred for safe transportation between job sites.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about technical issues and solutions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
