We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Check out our many videos to learn more!  http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/Summary:The Pump Mechanic will repair/fabricate a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment, troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps, gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment.Responsibilities of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:Read blueprints and drawingsUse micrometers and dial indicatorsUse all types of mechanics’ hand toolsUtilize presses, torches and pullersAlign pumps and motorsRebuild mechanical sealsQualifications of the Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:Have a working knowledge of fits and clearancesBe adept at reading micrometers and other measuring instrumentsHave good math skillsAble to clearly and concisely perform inspection reportsHave a high school degreeAdditional Information:Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.Training/Certifications: Ability to perform laser alignments and ability to take vibration readings preferredShift Time/Overtime: First Shift with Overtime as requiredTravel: N/AEducation: High School Diploma#LI-JG1 #ZRJGLocation: USA:CA:AnaheimDXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
