Dwellers Drinkery | BBQ and Handmade Sausage Assistant | Hourly Growth Path to Salaried Role
Our chef-owner is already running our BBQ program and is ready to take it further. We can't do that alone.
We're looking for someone to come in, learn directly from the person who built it, and eventually take ownership of where it goes next including expanding into a full housemade sausage program and leading a small team built around these crafts.
This isn't starting from zero. It's joining something real and helping make it bigger.
But we need someone who's in it for the long haul. Not a stepping stone seeker. Someone who wants to learn, grow, and still be here when this thing is firing on all cylinders.

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE:
You'll work directly alongside our chef-owner to:
Learn our existing BBQ & Smoke program the techniques, the approach, the standards. Low-and-slow, wood selection, temperature management, the details that make it worth eating.
Help build out our Housemade Sausage program learning sausage making and stuffing from the ground up and developing it into a core part of what we do.
You may also be a real part of the kitchen daily prep, sides, and whatever the shift needs. This position os on the ground floor for our new soon-to-be sausage program and eventually retail sausages so sausage stuffing experience is a plus.
CANDIDATE SHOULD TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR ABILITY TO MULTITASK BUT ALSO FOCUS IN ON THE PROJECT AT HAND WHEN NEEDED
Over time, as you earn it, you'll take on more ownership of these programs and eventually build and lead a small team focused on BBQ, smoke, and sausage.
This starts hourly. For the right person who sticks with it, it becomes a salaried position with a team of your own.
