Job Title: Preschool Teacher
Pay: $14.00-$19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday

We are looking for a Preschool Teacher to assist young children in learning opportunities to help prepare them for kindergarten. You will teach them important elements such as letter recognition, handwriting skills, and how to socialize with their friends. . A preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and educational methods as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or childcare preferred.
- CPR
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to help the children prepare for their next level of education.
- Plan and implement the curriculum
- Communicate effectively with parents and fellow staff
- Follow safety/cleaning procedures for your classroom
- Teach children basic skills such as identifying colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.
- Work with children in a group or one on one, depending on the needs of the children and subject matter
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure the children have enough physical activity and rest
- Organize activities so children can explore their interests and develop skills.
- Keep records of the children's progress, routines, and interests so you are able to inform parents about their child's development.
