- **Requires an associate, baccalaureate, or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development.**Degree requirements are set by the Office of Head Start. Degrees in unrelated fields will not be considered.
- Requires valid driver's license
- Thrive in a professional work environment with excellent coaching staff.
- Collaborate with fellow classroom staff as part of a teaching team to support children and implement policies.
- Children attend 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). Teaching staff have a built-in prep/training day each week (Wednesday).
- Full-time 9-month position from mid-August to mid-May. If desired, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc.
- Pay Scale:**One of the most ask questions is about compensation. Our pay scale is directly tied to your level of education.
- Associate: $26.84/hour ($41,227/annually)
- Bachelor: $31.52/hour ($48,415 annually)
- Master: $31.83/hour ($48,891 annually)
