Enrollment Operations Manager – Enrollment Management Group Salary: Commensurate
with experience POSITION SUMMARY: This position
reports to the Director of Enrollment Systems and supports the administrative
functions within Enrollment Management. This employee will be expected to
perform a number of vital roles based on the undergraduate and graduate admission
cycle. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, managing the application and
admission credential process for undergraduate admissions, graduate admissions,
and financial aid, mail receipt and sorting and handling and optimizing the
daily flow of queries, reports, and data entry. This individual is the point
person for Slate training and coordinates work for one to two full-time
employees and six to ten student employees. This individual is also responsible
for the performance of advanced assignments and special projects in support of
the Enrollment Management Group. Administrative work requiring initiative and
independent judgement. Maintenance of confidential information while ensuring
the efficient operation of the office of Enrollment Management. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the daily
flow of the Undergraduate Admissions application processing area ensuring that
all necessary queries, reports, documentation scanning & indexing and
postal mail are distributed and attended to for preparation of application
review and maintenance through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM),
Slate, and Banner, ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of all data entry
information processed. Assists daily mail when necessary. Support the pursuit
of operational excellence in all areas of Enrollment Management. Administrative
work requiring initiative and independent judgement. Maintenance of
confidential information while ensuring the efficient operation of the office
of Enrollment Management. Provides
technical assistance and lead slate functionality requests (develop and
maintain queries, reports, portals, etc.) for EMG and campus partners. Serves
as a key member of the operations team—assessing departmental needs,
recommending digital solutions, and updating procedures accordingly. Assists with the optimization and administration of
the enrollment systems, including, but not limited to Technolutions Slate,
Ellucian Banner, and Axiom. Supervises and assigns work and
completes performance evaluations for full-time Enrollment Systems Specialists
and Operations student employees. Manage enrollment operations and
systems ticket requests Organizes
the receipt and review of academic credentials for admission applicants. Enters
inquiry and application data, scans and indexes confidential materials through
the systems, ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of all data entry
information processed for admissions. Works to bring applications to completion
by coordinating the receipt of academic credentials through communication with
prospective students, parents and high school counselors. Provides
assistance with inquiry and application data entry and related tasks for
graduate admissions and financial aid during peak seasons of the cycle. Assists with
testing Banner software upgrades from CTS, SAGE in Financial Aid and is point
person for Slate scanning and index training. Supports
operational and processing effectiveness for the entire enrollment division (UG
admissions, Graduate Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Enrollment Marketing
and Communications, Military and Veterans, and Guest Services). Participates in various admissions
events (i.e., DUQ Days, Accepted Student Days, etc.). Performs
other related duties as assigned to support the functions of a dynamic, team-oriented
environment. SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises the work of
others, including planning, assigning and scheduling work, reviewing work and
ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing their productivity.
May offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments, but does
not have responsibility for making these decisions.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field from an
accredited institution and 3-5 years of work-related experience. Minimum 1 year of experience
in admissions or student services at the college/university level or closely
related environment dealing with the public. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in business or related field from an accredited institution. Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of
experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities
required to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not
limited to, the following: Strong
communication skills, both oral and written Attention to
detail and accuracy while multi-tasking Strong
organization skills Knowledge of
PC and Microsoft Office Software; familiarity with Slate and Banner preferred Data entry,
scanning and indexing Ability to
