What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Pumper / Lease Operator position at Dupree Oilfield Services, LLC?
The Contract Pumper/Lease Operator is responsible for oil production, upkeep and maintenance on an oil lease. This position will keep track of all production numbers including but not limited to production water and gas.
This position is for OIL PRODUCTION leases. Applicants must have experience in maintaining, restarting, and troubleshooting Pumpjacks, AJacks, Rotoflex's, Gaslifts, Jetpumps, etc. Lease operators for this position MUST have at least 1 year experience with direct work experience.
Essential Functions
- Measure and record production volumes of oil, water, and gas
- Note and report variances
- Monitor equipment for proper operation and condition
- Accurately records meter readings, pressures and production volumes for reports
- Reports concerns, potential issues problems requiring additional help to supervisor
- Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping
- Ensure operation is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner
- Respond to any emergency or call out situations
- Maintain and adhere to treatment schedules, well test schedules and preventative maintenance
- Maintains all records required by any regulatory body.
- Equipment repairs
- Troubleshooting
- Clean facility
- Additional responsibilities added as experience is added
- Understanding of ESP’s, Pumpjacks, Rotoflex’s, Jetpumps, etc

Work Environment
This job operates in a field environment. This role works in outside weather conditions. The employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, cold weather, extreme heat, and vibration.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have visual acuity to operate a motor vehicle and view a computer terminal. While at the worksite the individual will be expected to walk and stand. On occasion this individual might be asked to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and/or crawl.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work, Schedule varied depending on client.
Required Education and Experience
Basic:
- Self-starter
- Good math skills
- Relevant production experience
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Communication skills
Preferred:
- At least 1 year Contract pumping experience
- Computer literate with basic MS Office experience
- Able to work alone with minimal supervision

Pay:
· DOE base pay $19hr
