What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Line Locator/Oilfield Operator position at Dupree Oilfield Services, LLC?
Dupree Oil Field Services is seeking a Utility/Line Locator. This position is responsible for using technical equipment to accurately locate and GPS underground utilities. Company vehicle provided, office work space in Williston with administrative and operational support. Small company with advancement opportunities for those eager and team oriented. This position is year round with the primary responsibility being line locating with the opportunity to cross train in other oilfield positions for ensure full time hours and year round employment.
The essential job duties include:
· Locating underground utilities (Primarily on Production sites)
· Taking GPS coordinates of existing gas infrastructure and entering associated data while in the field
· Researching archived work orders, service orders, and field drawings to identify and correct inconsistencies. Take notes, organized, and attention to detail.
Required Skills and Abilities:
· Proficient computer software skills (Windows, MS Office, Outlook)
- Ability to work as a team or independently.
· Ability to use company provided industry leading locate equipment and technology to accurately locate utility lines. (College accredited certification is provided for experienced Personnel)
· Ability to work in all conditions and walk various types of terrains
· Communication and customer service
Required Education and/or Experience:
· HS Diploma or equivalent
- College or accreditation in this field a plus
· Valid driver’s license with good driving record for 3 years and over the age of 21.
· Previous locating experience required
Full time, year round position with excellent benefit package including medical, dental, and vision.
