Shipping Receiving Clerk

Responsible for organizing shipments for vendors.  Tracks items going in and out of inventory.  Assists the Shipping Supervisor with all day to day operations of department.  Acts as shipping supervisor when supervisor is absent.

·        Get list of jobs from supervisor

·        Gather basket or container of parts for packing

·        Get boxes from QC with green “okay to pack” sheets’

·        Put boxes together

·        Pack parts in boxes

·        Visual inspection of parts while packing

·        Print inventory labels

·        Put labels on boxes for shipment

·        Look for burrs, defects, plating defects on parts

·        Put boxes on skids

·        Move skids into approved area

·        Enter counts into Vantage

·        Clean work area

·        All other duties as assigned

·        Ability to use scales

·        Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds

·        Able to stand for 8-10 hours per shift

·        Use of Vantage

·        Ability to make boxes

·        Basic data entry skills

·        Forklift certification

·        Ability to run hydraulic pallet jack

·        Safety minded at all times

·        Basic reading and math skills

·        Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
