Seeking an experienced Accountant for a role with a manufacturer located in Dorchester County who will be responsible for supporting financial operations, improving processes, and ensuring accurate reporting. A heavy focus on this role will be in auditing and monitoring expenses for compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex general ledger work and month-end close
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Improve AR/AP processes and support budgeting/forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Assist with audits, payroll reporting, inventory, and fixed assets
- Train junior staff and support cross-functional initiatives
- Multi-state/entity accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience
- Must have advanced skills in Excel, knowledge of SAP and Concur
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with global accounting teams preferred
