WCS is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a local contract at a prestigious hospital in Buffalo, New York.

Job Function~

  • Night Shift.
  • 3x12.
  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) based on acute care protocols.
  • Monitor and assess patients’ cardiovascular status, responding promptly to changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments following BLS and ACLS guidelines.
  • Document patient care activities accurately using the Epic electronic health records system.

Job Requirements~

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Current Registered Nurse license for the state of New York.
  • 2 years of acute Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health records system is required.
