SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Duffy Kruspodin is confidentially looking for a Corporate Controller for one of their most loyal clients. This is an established property management company based out of the heart of Los Angeles that is in need of a Controller to oversee all accounting functions, including operation, advancement and staffing.

KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Supervise approximately 4-6 accounting personnel (AR, AP, Assistant Controller)
- Maintain strong internal controls
- Manage cash flow
- Assist in development of and monitor annual operating budgets
- Manage month-end and year-end closings for all entities on a timely basis, including posting charges, journal entries and accruals
- Final review and approval of all payables
- Oversee technology (Yardi), including implementation of best available tools to make operation as efficient as possible
- Constant communication and collaboration with accounting team, property operations team, CPAs, and ownership.
- Other tasks as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- Strong understanding of real estate/property management accounting
- 8 years experience in accounting, with 4 years experience as Controller or similar supervisory role, managing teams and overseeing complex financial operations.
- Fluency with Yardi, QuickBooks and Excel
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
