Job Summary
The Deli Associate is responsible for preparing made-to-order sandwiches and salads, creating unique and appealing daily lunch specials, and maintaining a clean, organized deli area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for food preparation and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli items according to store recipes and customer requests
- Develop creative and delicious lunch specials each day
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, consistently, and attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli station, equipment, and prep areas
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service
- Assist with stocking, labeling, and rotating deli products
- Work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality and accuracy
Qualifications
- Prior deli, food service, or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong creativity and interest in food preparation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends or holidays as needed)

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
