Job Overview
We are seeking a Fully Licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. You will utilize your clinical skills to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver both individual and group therapy across various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and via telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to diagnose and evaluate client needs
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavior management, and psychodynamic therapy
• Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions with a focus on child & family counseling, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage emergency situations with professionalism and sensitivity
• Document all clinical encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards
• Utilize research skills to stay current with best practices in mental health care and incorporate new techniques into treatment approaches
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, case managers, educators, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Fully licensed as an LPC or LCSW with active licensure in the relevant state or jurisdiction
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; experience with autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable
• Strong background in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy or applied behavior analysis (ABA)
• Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation
• Experience providing telehealth therapy sessions using HIPAA-compliant platforms
• Knowledge of clinical documentation standards including medical terminology and medical records management
• Ability to handle crisis management effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Commitment to ethical guidelines outlined by clinical associations and adherence to confidentiality protocols
