We are seeking a Fully or Provisionally Licensed Contract Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute psychiatric episodes effectively and ensure client safety
- Facilitate intake sessions to gather comprehensive client histories, including medical terminology and clinical documentation standards
- Develop and update personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical records management, progress notes, and case documentation
- Engage in case management activities, including coordination with other healthcare providers for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities
Requirements
- Fully or provisionally licensed as a mental health clinician (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in the state of practice
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities such as autism or developmental delays
- Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities including motivational interviewing, social work principles, and evidence-based practices like applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards
- Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions using HIPAA-compliant platforms
- Ability to perform mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations accurately
- Skills in crisis management, behavior management, grief counseling, trauma-focused therapy, and addiction counseling preferred
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of clinical research methods and data collection techniques is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in outpatient settings or inpatient environments with diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics
