Job Responsibilities:
· A working partnership with the Project Manager to manage long-term and daily activities
· Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, schedules and key milestones
· Oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety compliant with OSHA and other governing jurisdictions, construction, progress, quality control and a clean site
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills with all members of the team including owners, architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors
· Have the ability to coordinate multiple trades on site, organizing the trade supervisors with stand-up meetings
· Possess a strong understanding of the work and the execution required to put it in place
· All team members will be valued and will be treated honestly, fairly and professionally
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years in field experience
· A minimum of 5 years of assistant and/or superintendent experience
· OSHA 30 Certificate
· Proven track record of meeting schedules
· Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and forecast work needs
· Proven ability to schedule work and mange people
· Extensive knowledge of construction safety procedures and regulations
· The ability to ensure safety is part of the planning and execution of both Ducas self-perform and subcontractor work installed
· Extensive knowledge of applicable building standards, code requirements, and construction best practices
· Experience in computer technology – Project and Field Management Software (Primavera, Autodesk, Procore, etc.), scheduling software (MS Project, etc.) as well as MS Excel/Word
· Ability to establish site controls and confirm controls are followed by all trades
· Confirm subcontractor layout as work progresses
· Experience in managing the punch list and closeout process
· Daily Autodesk Updates for field/quality reports, photos and other documentation
