Project Manager – Dual Fuel

We are a Licensed Master Plumber, Oil Burner Installer, General Contractor, and Con Edison Multifamily Partner. What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing mechanical and HVAC installation projects from planning through completion. You will:

• Lead and support an Assistant Project Manager (APM).
• Review project plans, bid documents, scopes of work, and budgets.
• Build and maintain project schedules to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Obtain all required permits, inspections, and signoffs.
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise installation crews and subcontractors.
• Track budgets, labor, and material usage to ensure financial targets are met.
• Manage the full contract scope and ensure every item is completed.
• Prepare and estimate project change orders; communicate with clients for approvals.
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to procure equipment and services.
• Attend project meetings with architects, engineers, customers, and city agencies.
• Coordinate site access with building management and property teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and project partners.
• Provide end‑user training on equipment after project completion.
• Maintain all project logs, spreadsheets, and documentation.

What You Bring

• 5 years of experience in construction project management focused on mechanical or HVAC installations.
• Strong knowledge of boiler systems, steam and hydronic heating, domestic hot water systems, pumps, gas/fuel systems, mechanical code, plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Experience with hydronic boilers, cooling systems, chillers, fans, and controls is a plus.
• Experience using project management software (Asana, BuildOps preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive with excellent follow‑up.
• Ability to make decisions independently and keep projects moving.
