Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including but not limited to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tankers.
- Transport goods and materials from one location to another.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving commercial vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with operating various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tankers.
- Knowledge of freight handling and transportation procedures.
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations for commercial drivers.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
