Join the DTC team as a Quality Assurance Monitor supporting ADM's food manufacturing facility in Hutchinson, Kansas
Pay: $21.50/hour for days or $22.50/hour for nights
Attendance bonus: Earn $300 after 45 days of employment when attendance requirements are met.
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: three 12-hour shifts
Day Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm
Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:00am
We're hiring a detail-orientated Quality Assurance Monitor to inspect products, collect samples, perform quality checks, and document results to help ensure products meet quality and food safety standards.
What you'll do
Perform scheduled inspections and tests on in-process and finished products.
Report quality concerns to production leadership and follow up to confirm corrections.
Identify and mark products that do not meet specifications and hold them for QA review.
Follow quality procedures and accurately record inspection and testing results.
Collect product samples for labratory analysis, perform soy lab checks, and report results outside expected ranges.
Perform ATP swabbing and assist with microbial sampling.
Assist production with labeling, replenishing supplies, startup assembly, and teardown.
Follow all workplace safety and food safety procedures and report hazards.
What you'll need
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain organized records.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to succesfully complete HACCP and other required certification classes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to wear required protective equipment.
Ability to distinguish colors accurately during inspections.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working in tight spaces. Ability to climb ladders and traverse catwalks up to 60 feet above ground level.
Preferred: Two or more years of experience in a quality-related role.
