Role Description The Part Time Key Holder at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse in Flowood, MS is an on-site role responsible for supporting daily store operations and providing an engaging customer experience. In this role, you will help open and close the store, follow cash handling and key management procedures, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards. You will assist customers with product selection, maintain visual merchandising and stock organization, and support fitting, returns, and exchanges. The position also involves processing transactions, participating in promotions, and collaborating with team members to meet sales and service goals. This is a part time role with varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service and retail sales skills, with the ability to engage shoppers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations.
• Basic cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) operation, and key management skills, with attention to detail in following store security and operational procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with store leadership and peers in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle merchandise, maintain store cleanliness, and support visual merchandising standards, including standing, walking, and lifting as required.
• Prior retail, fashion, or footwear experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
• Reliable attendance, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and commitment to upholding inclusive, non-discriminatory customer and workplace practices.
