Quality Control Lead

Location: Vancouver, WA
Salary Range: $100k - $120k

About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Control Lead to oversee the implementation of a comprehensive Quality Control Plan across all phases of a major project. This role involves coordinating inspections, testing, and reporting with project teams and ensuring compliance with jurisdictional and contractual standards. You'll play a key part in driving continuous improvement and maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and document inspections for compliance with codes, contracts, and third-party requirements.
• Coordinate jurisdictional visits and maintain accurate documentation using platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Verify materials and construction meet project specifications and building codes.
• Participate in progress and QC meetings; review drawings and address discrepancies.
• Document fabrication processes, identify deficiencies, and ensure corrections before shipment.
• Oversee installation quality, track corrective actions, and support commissioning processes.

What We're Looking For

• Strong understanding of Lean construction/manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Preferred: Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) and experience with electrical QC.
• Previous experience in ISO9001 and people management is a plus.
