Plant Engineering Manager

Position Title: Plant Engineering Manager - Dairy

Location: Phoenix

An industry-leading food and beverage manufacturing company is seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to join their Phoenix facility. The Plant Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading engineering operations, driving process improvements, and supporting the Plant Manager on capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering support for production systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality
• Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, and supply chain teams
• Mentor and develop engineering staff to build technical capability and leadership

Qualifications

• 5 years dairy experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
• 10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, with 5 years in a leadership role within the food and beverage industry
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance
• Proven experience in reliability engineering
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team development
