Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes for molding, melting, and casting new and legacy products.
• Troubleshoot casting issues and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support daily production operations through process routings, ERP systems, and technical documentation.
• Analyze raw material chemistry and prepare accurate furnace charges.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to meet demanding project requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 years of experience
• In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience in casting/foundry operations
• U.S. citizenship required (due to export control regulations; NOFORN designation applies)
• Knowledge of bronze and stainless-steel casting practices
• Experience with large castings (5-80 tons) and no-bake molding methods
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Background in lean manufacturing environments
• Proficiency with solidification simulation software (e.g., MAGMA Flo, ProCAST, Flow-3D)
