DSJ Global is partnered with a top food & beverage manufacturing company to hire a Maintenance Manager.
This role is pivotal in driving equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to optimize uptime and reliability.
- Manage maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory programs (Arc Flash, LOTO, Confined Space, PSM).
- Support small capital projects and sustainability initiatives (energy, water, waste).
- Lead and develop maintenance staff through training, coaching, and performance management.
- Champion food safety and quality culture across all maintenance activities.
- Maintain and improve CMMS usage (currently EMaint) for planning and tracking work orders.
- Provide cross-shift leadership coverage, including periodic weekend oversight.
- 7-9 years of maintenance leadership experience in a high-speed CPG or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, industrial controls, mechanical, hydraulic, refrigeration (ammonia), and utilities.
- Proven success in reliability/OEE improvement through structured maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with GMP, GFSI/SQF standards, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA).
- Experience with Lean, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in CMMS platforms; EMaint experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Flexible schedule availability, including rotating weekend coverage.
