Overview

We are seeking a senior-level CDN Control Plane Engineer to design and implement a unified configuration platform across multiple CDN providers, ensuring scalable, resilient, and automated delivery within a financial services environment.

Position

Contract – 6 months (W2)

Focus: 70% Functional Design, 30% Development/Automation

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and implementation of CDN configurations across Cloudflare, Akamai, and F5
• Develop and manage a domain-specific language (DSL) or unified platform for CDN configuration
• Drive automation of CDN deployments and change processes
• Collaborate across networking, security, and DevOps teams
• Provide expert-level guidance on routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing
• Ensure high performance, availability, and security of CDN infrastructure
• Monitor and enhance CDN reliability and traffic handling using tools like NetScout or Arbor
  
  

Requirement Qualifications

• 7 years of hands-on experience in CDN and network infrastructure
• Expertise in CDN platforms: Cloudflare, Akamai, and F5
• Strong knowledge in networking: routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers
• Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure automation tools: Python, Terraform, Ansible
• Familiarity with DDoS protection and network observability tools (NetScout, Arbor)
• Strong documentation and cross-team communication skills
  
  

Additional Information

• Onsite role – 5 days/week in Plano, TX
• Interviews expected to be scheduled quickly
• Background check and financial compliance required due to end-client industry
