Position: Tech lead

Location: Atlanta , GA (Day1 Onsite )

Rate: 60/hr in c2c

Note : final round in person

This role is basically a Senior Full Stack Tech Lead DevOps Cloud Engineer combined role.

We are looking for someone who can lead development, handle cloud infrastructure, mentor team members, and manage deployments/testing also.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in creating, maintaining, and supporting critical enterprise applications. This includes developing and managing DevOps processes for both on-premises and AWS cloud infrastructure, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and accurately estimating project timelines. The ability to translate complex business requirements into functional code, write automated tests, design various architectures, curate OpenAPI specifications, and communicate effectively with leadership and business partners is required.
• Candidates should possess more than 5 years of professional development experience with technologies such as XML, Typescript, Spring, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular 10 , Node, APIs, and NoSQL databases. Experience with AWS or Azure, design thinking, test-driven development, and embedded security is highly valued. Proficiency in containers, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, DevOps tools, and API gateways is essential.
• The applicant must prioritise quality development practices and information security, and have a solid understanding of web and mobile application architecture and security. Hands-on UI development experience, proficiency in frameworks like Bootstrap, and experience with Java tools, database design, and Agile methodologies are also required.

Minimum Educational Requirements

At least a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency is required. The candidate must also demonstrate a commitment to diversity, safety, and security.

Technical Skills and Experience

• • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Java, full-stack, C#, .NET, and/or Python development
• • Experience working with GitHub and/or GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, Spring Boot
• • Skilled in writing and designing unit test cases using TDD and BDD methodologies
• • Hands-on experience virtualising services for test automation using tools such as Wire Mock and Mockito
• • Strong automation mindset, designing and writing automated tests for backend applications and data flow using tools like Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, Ready API, etc.
• • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Circle CI
• • Broad experience in AWS cloud serverless components and ability to build and maintain cloud data processing systems (e.g., ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, PostgreSQL, Dynamo, Sagemaker, Athena, etc.)
• • Experience using relational and object databases, web service development standards and practices, including RESTful APIs, micro-services, and services
• • Experience in agile development environments using workload management tools like VersionOne/Agility
• • Expert troubleshooting and deployment experience, with strong understanding of transforming business and functional requirements into efficient technical solutions
• • Experience with system integrations, performance optimisation, and data integrity
• • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, ensuring timely transmission of critical information
• • Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, able to resolve urgent problems calmly and quickly, displaying high initiative and drive
• • Ability to be effective in high-stress environments
• • Flexibility and willingness to embrace challenges outside one's comfort zone

Preferred Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, with at least 4 years of relevant technical experience, or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with a minimum of 2 years of technical experience
• • Hands-on experience creating test reports from automation test runs using tools such as cucumber report and Extent report
• • Experience with OpenShift
• • Working knowledge of MQ
• • AWS Certification is considered an advantage
• • DevOps and/or automation experience in code testing, building, and deployment is a plus
• • Experience building computer software within the airline industry is desirable
• • Knowledge of Windows Server and HP-UX operating systems is a plus
