Integrated Systems Intern

Internship Information:

We are seeking motivated intern with attention to detail for an exciting and rewarding internship opportunity in integrated systems and technology.

The role of the integrated systems intern is to assist the integrated systems specialist with ensuring the internal integrated systems are data accurate – the systems include but are not limited to the records system, provisioning systems, and operating systems. The integrated systems intern will become versed in multiple applications.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Assist in verifying records throughout DRN ReadiTech service areas
• Assist with updates of jumper usage in Central Offices
• Assist with data cleanup projects
• Update Central Office Racks
• Update labels on shelves in Central Offices
• Scan documents

Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in college - Sophomore, Junior or Senior in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
• 2.5 or higher GPA preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Microsoft Excel and Visio experience and familiarity
• Be able to commit to DRN ReadiTech for a summer internship beginning approximately mid-May to mid-August
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid, clear driver’s license – intern will be traveling to DRN ReadiTech facilities in company vehicle
• Be able to independently work through a project from start to finish with limited supervision, as well as have the skills to work collaboratively on a team
• Have the vision to identify problems, make recommendations and provide creative and realistic solutions
