Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.
- Assist with floor care tasks like carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors to keep surfaces looking their best.
- Provide friendly customer service by responding to residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry handling.
- Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude toward residents or guests.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning products is a plus.
- Familiarity with housekeeper management or supervisory roles is beneficial but not required.
