Job Overview
The Terrace Inn 1911 is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for the season. This role is essential in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that reflects the charm and high standards of our historic inn.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms and common areas with care and consistency. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and positive attitude will directly contribute to the overall guest experience and reputation of the property.
This is a seasonal position, with compensation based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Must be comfortable on your feet along with going up and down the stairs regularly.
- Clean and prepare guest rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Refresh rooms for stayovers and complete full turnovers within designated timeframes
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest or team requests when needed
- Assist with maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or housekeeping concerns
- Experience & Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, custodial, or janitorial experience preferred but not necessary
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of detail and consistency
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential
