As bar back, you will be a vital member of the bar staff, ensuring that the bar is well stocked, so that the bartenders can provide a seamless service and the guests can experience the fun and escapism they come here to enjoy!
Responsibilities Include
- Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins etc before and during service hours.
- Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs and restock bar items.
- Keep the bar area neat and clean
- Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security personal to ensure efficient service to customers.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat
- May be required to drive large pick-up truck with a lift.
- Ensure all details are followed according to supervisor's instructions while providing guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and friendly manner.
- Notify supervisor of any broken or damaged equipment.
Personal Skills
- Must have a neat appearance and be quick, energetic and be able to work at a fast pace.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests and associates.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Ability to manage time well with minimal supervision.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses with complete, clean uniform professionally at all times.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity, continuous standing.
- Hearing and writing ability.
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time – up to 8 hours.
