Kitchen Staff - Part time

POSITION PURPOSE:

• The kitchen staff performs a wide range of duties in the fast-moving kitchen; they are the utility people, often assisting the head chef, or serving as line cooks and wait staff with various aspects of meal preparation and delivery. The goal is to provide culinary services for patients that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation as superior provider Substance Abuse Rehabilitation.

EDUCATION:    

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Culinary School Training Preferred 

EXPERIENCE:    

• At least 2 years’ experience working in a Commercial Kitchen.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:    

• Ability to work as a team member and have management communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
• Demonstrates Proficiency in Verbal & Written Communication Skills.
• Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws.
• Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
• Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
• Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance Program.
• Knowledge of current utilized technology.
